The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has released its daily statistical report, revealing that Israeli Genocidal Campaign continues to inflict death and destruction on the besieged Strip, even months after a supposed ceasefire took effect.
In the past 24 hours alone, three new martyrs were killed and 35 Palestinians were injured, according to the Ministry’s update issued on June 3. These latest victims add to the heavy toll borne by the civilian population under relentless pressure from Israeli military Aggression.
The Ministry highlighted that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed homes and buildings, as well as on the streets. Ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them due to ongoing restrictions and dangers imposed by the occupation forces.
Since the ceasefire on October 11, Israeli attacks have resulted in:
▪️936 martyrs
▪️2,903 injuries
▪️781 bodies recovered from under the rubble
Cumulative figures since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, paint a devastating picture of the scale of suffering endured by the Palestinian people:
▪️Total martyrs: 72,945
▪️Total injuries: 173,011
These numbers reflect not only direct fatalities from airstrikes, shelling, and ground aggression but also the broader humanitarian catastrophe caused by the destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system, homes, schools, and vital infrastructure. Palestinian officials have repeatedly stressed that the true death toll is likely higher, as many bodies remain unrecovered and inaccessible in areas heavily targeted by Israeli forces.
The Ministry of Health continues to operate under extreme conditions, with severely limited medical supplies, damaged hospitals, and an exhausted medical staff working tirelessly to treat the wounded amid the ongoing Genocide. Health officials have warned that the persistent aggression and blockade are creating a situation where preventable deaths from injuries and lack of proper care are rising.
This latest report comes as Palestinians across Gaza continue to demand an end to the aggression, the full withdrawal of Israeli forces, and the opening of borders to allow much-needed humanitarian aid, reconstruction materials, and medical support to flow freely into the Strip.
The Palestinian people remain steadfast in the face of these hardships, with families mourning their loved ones while calling for international intervention to hold the occupier accountable for the immense loss of life and the systematic targeting of civilians.
