Hamas leader Abdel Rahman Shadid:
“We call on our people in the West Bank to mobilize and rally, strengthen steadfast presence and field engagement in all villages and towns targeted by settlement activity in the occupied West Bank, confront settler attacks and terrorism by all possible means, disrupt the occupation’s calculations and those of its settler groups, and thwart plans for annexation and displacement.
We stress that settler terrorism will not succeed in breaking the will of our people or uprooting them from their land, and that resistance and adherence to national principles will remain the strongest weapon in confronting the aggression until the occupation is defeated and all its settlement and Judaization projects are thwarted.
The current phase requires the broadest possible state of national unity and mobilization, as the ongoing attacks no longer target a specific area but have become an organized project aimed at imposing forced displacement, seizing land, and breaking the will and steadfastness of our people across various governorates of the occupied West Bank.
We commend the steadfastness of our people in the villages and towns subjected to daily attacks and praise the heroic positions demonstrated by residents in confronting settler groups and defending their land and property, affirming that this steadfastness represents the first line of defense against the settlement project.
There is a necessity to strengthen popular protection and guard committees in threatened areas, support targeted communities, and intensify national and field activities in a manner that reinforces citizens’ steadfastness and defeats the occupation’s plans.”
